High Throughput

ion4i_w is a 2x2:2 MIMO Wi-Fi 5 Indoor Access Point and has a peak throughput of 867 Mbps for 5GHz and 400 Mbps for 2.4 GHz.

Dual-Band Radio

The concurrent dual-band inside ion4i_w offers a combined peak data rate of 1.27 Gbps. Technologies like transmit beamforming and enhanced receiver sensitivity allows ion4i_w to support higher client density resulting in better performance for clients connected to each Access Point.

Passpoint 3.0

Provides seamless network access and convenient roaming between hotspots and is Wi-Fi Alliance certified for Passpoint 3.0. This enhances the internetworking ability of Wi-Fi networks and provides individualized protection to user devices when connecting to mobile data offloading (MDO) enabled hotspots.

Integrated Omnidirectional Antennas

Max transmit power of 25dBm plus integrated antennas each of 5 dBi gain and 360-degree coverage helps transmit data to a larger coverage area, leading to a higher number of clients connected per Access Point.

Mesh Certified

The entire Wi-Fi network functions on 802.11s Mesh Technology thus eliminating the need for expensive cabling. Access Points automatically connect to form a mesh and provide connectivity in every possible corner. With self-healing and self-optimization functionality, in case of a mesh node failure, the surrounding nodes automatically re-connect with the best next-hop to resume service without downtime.

Secure Data Transmission

The Access Point is equipped with an array of latest business-class security features such as WPA3-Personal, WPA3-Enterprise,Wi-Fi Enhanced Open and Captive Portal Authentication. Rogue AP detection and prevention helps administrators identify authorized Access Points across the network, while MAC address filtering provides an additional layer of protection.

Enhanced User Experience

ion4i_w provides advanced location and indoor wayfinding, proximity-based push notification capabilities as well as enables businesses to leverage mobility context to develop applications that will deliver an enhanced user experience and increase the value of wireless networks for organizations.

Cloud Managed Network

Centralized management of the entire network on our highly intuitive, flexible, and scalable cloud network manager. It provides the flexibility to distribute the network, allocate varying bandwidths, manage, track, troubleshoot, configure, communicate, and enforce policies on all Access Points in the network. The controller has in-built analytics and reporting capabilities to gain insights into usage patterns.
